Dental Crown

Dental crowns are used to restore severely damaged or decayed teeth. They not only improve the tooth's appearance, but also provide strength and protection, helping to prevent further damage and potential tooth loss.

Dental crowns are a restorative dental procedure used to repair and strengthen damaged or weakened teeth. The procedure typically involves two visits to the dentist's office. During the first visit, your dentist will numb the affected area and prepare the tooth by removing any damaged or decayed material.

Next, an impression of the tooth will be taken to create a custom-fitted crown. While the permanent crown is being created in a dental lab, a temporary crown will be placed over the tooth to protect it.

During the second visit, the temporary crown will be removed and the permanent crown will be cemented onto the tooth using a dental adhesive. Your dentist will ensure a comfortable fit and bite before polishing the crown to match the natural contour of your teeth.

Dental crowns are an important restorative dental procedure that can help prevent further damage to the tooth and restore its function and appearance. They can be made from a variety of materials, including porcelain, ceramic, metal, or a combination of materials, and can last for many years with proper care and regular checkups.
